car pictures dissappeared, no traffic sign assist and no navigation

Featured Replies

Dear all,

the other day I installed TPMS on my 2020 Skoda Superb Estate.

i mean, a service man wired everything and I tried to do the software part in order to connect the hardware with the car

after i finished everything, the car saw the sensors and showed the pressure.

But, the picture of the car with the tyres' pressure dissapeared. i can see only the pressure figures.

the same on the virtual cockpit, it does not show the car.

also, the car is not reading traffic signs anymore for some reason and the navigation doesnt start.

what can i do?

thanks

Did you take a backup before starting?

What did you change? - specifics.

What software did you use?

Where was the TPMS dataset from?

What is the TPMS control module part number and where is it from?

Any fault codes?

Please supply all this for us to understand where you may of made mistakes

I backed up with car scanner pro

Than reversed the changes, but nothing changed

The data set was uploaded by myself.

Control module number is 5Q0907273B

Come on man, please answer the questions asked or we are not gonna be able to help.

6 questions asked, 2.5 answered, you’ve gotta help us to help you.

assuming u bought a TPMS that wasn't preloaded with a dataset, how did u upload the dataset yourself?

why did u reverse the changes?

if anything that would make it worse if the TPMS hardware is still installed/connected.

if i were u, i would take it back to the "service man" and tell them to fix the things they have broken.

if the TPMS was installed and coded correctly, it shouldn't cause the issues u r seeing.

Come on, give me some credit. English is not my native language, so I might have gotten something wrong.

basically, i followed the instructions from here

https://www.drive2.ru/l/598688480444299059/

and from here

https://www.drive2.ru/l/598758024554753329/

so i changed everything in accordance with the instructions, therefore i cannot really answer to the question what exactly i changed.

I used car scanner pro to upload the info, again, with the instructions from the second link.

Regarding TPMS data set, this is what I did not really understand. I think the data set is also in the second link.

The TPMS set was purchased on aliexpress, but it worked with other cars, as per site i gave you earlier.

there was one fault, when i was trying to upload info. it does not say what exactly was the error, but it says "coding error".

I hope this time I answered all your questions, so I tried to help you yo help me.

Thanks

@dimushor - have a read of my TPMS retrofit discussion, hopefully u can follow the coding steps, and U can resolve the issue.

As for ur traffic sign recognition and navigation not working - can't help u there.

With regards to uploading the TPMS parameter set, this can only b done via VCP or ODIS.

U can't use "car scanner pro", or VCDS or OBDeleven.

That would explain why u have an error.

When u do such retrofits u need to b exactly sure of the changes u make, and use the correct methods/tools.

U say u followed the instructions in the links, yet u have no idea of wat u did!?!?!

If ur not sure or confident, u need to get someone who does know wat they're doing, otherwise u get into situations like this.
