My thoughts of the Jabba Custom Remap

Featured Replies

My car has had the Jabba Custom Remap for nearly 2 weeks now and I have to say I have been amazed with the difference. The power is great no matter what gear you are in, no clutch slip and no juddering at all, just 100% pure driving fun :D

When I left Jabba and pulled out onto the motorway and put my foot down you could feel it pull hard at first and then you didn

I still get low 50s sometimes from my little jabba tweaked mongrel. It does seem to be a great mix of power and economy, and I'm sure similar results can be had at other tuners as well. I just got to spend 8 hours on the Xbox while I could hear mine being rev'd up on the RR every now and then. :D

And going from 150 to 220, my first time out of Jabba down the A road to the A47 was just a little bit eye opening.

Nice right up..

You know about my pd130 conversion, right?

basically with the ECU still standard my pd130 with hybrid turbo and FMIC was rolling roaded at 151bhp. Obviously it had much more tuning potential come remap time, and Mike took it to 221bhp.

Nice write up

I can vouch that Jabba definately know their stuff

oh yeah..... was a little lost at he 150 - 220 bit. So the 150 was based on the VRS engine with the Hybrid turbo and the 220 was after the standard remap with turbo was custome mapped by Jabba

Dare I ask what the cost of the Hybrid Turbo was and would I be correct in think it ain't worth doing this without the FMIC

It would help. ;) Although I got my 2.25" bit of "scaffold pole" fitted after my remap. Quite a bit of time after my remap as it happens.
