Dsg Box 4x4...

Road tax was £230.

1st registration fee £55.

I gor next year's renewal in from dvla today £570. 

When I search online with my reg H14HGY It comes up £180..

Tried ringing them all day can't get through. 

If your car had a list price of over £40,000, which it probably has with extras included, then you have to pay a supplement of £390 on the VED for the first 5 years.

So why was it not this amount on my 1st year?

I paid under 40k for the car? 

Apparently from the second year.

Vehicle tax rates: Cars registered on or after 1 April 2017 - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

The 40k is based on list price not including any discounts etc
