fully loaded tyre pressure

Featured Replies

Hi,

A well worn topic I know, but would appreciate some advice. For fully loaded tyre pressure the fuel cap sticker says 2.3 bar (front) and 3.3 bar (rear). This is on 1.9 ambiente tdi with 195/65 R15s. The Bridgestone tyres say max pressure 44 psi and 3.3 bar is about 48 psi. Any advice welcome as will be taking family, camping gear and roofbox on holiday this summer.

thanks

3.3 seems a bit much anyway. put it at about 2.5 so you are still withing a safe limit when driving as the heat generated by the wheels natural resistance will cause the pressure to increase.

Thanks, 2.5 sounds a bit more sensible. Cheers.
