Is there any way to set the HU to power off automatically once i remove my key from the ignition like most cars do. At the mo, i have to switch off the HU manually. Just annoying really !

I have the Octy mark 1 (2002)

I thought the factory HU did that anyway. Both my old Fabia and my new Octavia did it.

Im after having this feature enabled if poss. (switching off automatically)

there is a way but i'm unsure as to how to do it i think its in the handbook somewhere

Sad as I am I was reading the handbook for the HU on Saturday, and it is in there somewhere. Mine does switch off when you remove the key. It's somewhere in the settings menu on the HU.

I think that in the settings you need to turn the igntion option on
