VCDS and VCP encoding

Featured Replies

Greetings. It is possible to encode:

turn off the sound of the engine running when the door is opened
closing the trunk with a button at dsg
adjustment of the speed of the auxiliary lights on in the matrix lights
adjusting the speed of switching on the fog lights in turns in the matrix lights

Thanks for help

These changes are not mentioned there. That's why I'm looking for a tried-and-tested option.

Maybe it’s possible to remove the warning when door is open with engine running, but never read that on this forum.

AFAIK closing the boot from the inside button seems to be feasible only with VCP.

I think @ApertureS 👋 our great guru of retrofiting should confirm these points. 😉

Obdeleven can’t upload datasets so it’s not possible with that.

only 2 software that allow dataset uploads is VCP and ODIS.

(Never used obd11 so feel free to correct me if I’m wrong)

yes, it can't be done through adaptations neither long coding,

but OBDEleven contains additional predefined $ APPs

I wish I could get this enabled. On two occasions now, I’ve inadvertently pressed the hatch open switch whilst in traffic. It’s a royal PITA to have to get out and shut the bloody thing!
