Hello, Just bought a Octavia TDI 150 Scout - love the car so far, loving the forum too. Just a quick couple of questions before i start removing things.

 

My rear bumper has reverse sensors,   They dont work in when in reverse, no beep, nothing on the screen.  The car says they are not available, there is no little button on the pane infont of the gear lever.  The mechanic I took it to today says it probably has not got them fitted.  I have plugged it into VCDS and there is no cooms with the module.

 

I also have a tow bar fitted.

 

Also my VCDS does not seem to be able to connect to the stero / infotainment system - shoud it be able too?

Think the easiest way to tell is if your car has additional parking sensors on the side quarters of the bumpers front and rear (facing side ways). Plus a button with picture of a steering wheel on the centre consul.
