It has a partial service history and has been regularly serviced - oil + filter change every 10000 - 12000 miles - last in August 2023 at 64000 miles,
new Battery in January 2024,
brake fluid change February 2024,
Haldex (4x4) oil and filter were changed at 40000 miles and the gearbox oil around the same time.

The tyres have plenty of tread.

The car comes with 2 original keys and the V5C in my name.
There is no finance on the car.
It has never been involved in any accidents.

The car has been garaged all the time I owned it.
The Superb is a very comfortable car. It has covered most of the mileage on long distance holiday motorway trips. It has a vast boot and plenty of leg room for passengers.
The Superb has never left us stranded.
It is also very capable in snow.

The car can be viewed in Wigston / Leicestershire.

it's a absolutely beautiful car and the price you have set does not sound unreasonable when looking at autotraders offers  (£7,200 - £11,500) with different mileages.

You are probably in the same boat as me i have a low mileage 14 plate car with a dual clutch automatic and they have two significant problems with selling.

The DSG and Euro 5 diesel everyone is wary and the dealers will rob you blind.

I am slowly coming to the decision that my car is worth more to me than what i can sell it for and unless i was buying new i could be buying someone else's problems on the  3 to 4 yo market.

If it was my car i would keep it, with all that specification what are you gaining by changing?

But good luck if you are committed to selling it, but it may be a struggle for a private seller to find a buyer at the price you want being unable to offer finance options etc.

I hope i am wrong.

P.S

(i would add a picture of the dashboard dials with the engine running, some will find it suspicious by it's absence )

The OP could do worse then try selling it via Motorway.

I did that with my Ceed recently and got above the estimate when their auction finally closed.

Added a picture with the engine running. No warning lights.

Thanks for the comments.

Also thanks for the PM.

The recall warning - if you do a DVLA search on my car -  is re. the software upgrade following the diesel gate. I did not do the software upgrade because of reports of increased EGR failures and a more sluggish engine.

Also Euro5 did not bother us really because we live far away from any congestion zone.

I bought probably one of the last few SIII estates at the wrong time a month ago - just before the Skoda website site changed to have the configuration live for the new SIV. If I had seen this, I would have not bought one and kept the SII to then go and order a new Superb IV estate L&K 4x4 TDI. I have been living in the hope to find a SIII estate TDI 4x4.... since 2020 when Skoda decided to stop selling it in the UK.

Never mind, maybe my new SIII may be up for sale soon.

and there was me thinking the outstanding recall might be this (rather than dieselgate) :)

I don't think I was aware of this.

Never had any issues with indicators though.

ah but if failure isn't detected how can you be sure you haven't had any issues ;o)

(but yes its a minor one)

BTW just looking at the full recalls.csv to see if it narrowed it down to more specific VINs it doesn't , seems to be all Superbs built between May 2013 & Apr 2015

What did you get for the car at auction out of interest? Its a shame I wasn’t in the market for a car at the time yours was for sale, I’ve always liked these.
