Hi ordered a fabia Monte Carlo on nhs fleet early feb. No build date yet but accepted by factory 

realistically when will I get in September 2024 or later

No idea, and the people that should are the supplying dealer.   Ask there for an answer that they can honestly give, and if that is 'not a clue;  that will be that.

 

I will flag for a mod to move this to the Fabia Mk4 section, there might be others waiting on orders.

We waited over seven months and took delivery of our Monte Carlo in November 2023.  Initially we were going to have one of the cars on display but decided to go for the assisted parking option.  That looks great on the Skoda Fabia video but hell to work out how to use.  If the car is on order it's likely to take a fair while to reach you.

Ordered end of February 2023, collected end of May 2023. So about three months from factory order to delivery.

Last year there were shortages in electronic chips which made production times difficult to forecast.  Times were dependent on the Fabia model, the accessories ordered and the order book.  I don't know if that is still an issue.  It's a bit of a how long is a piece of string question.

Yippee now been built 1st July now at stage waiting for shipping

i have read old posts about which ships are used. Does anyone know which ships are currently used ?

I have access to vessel finder.com for Tyne (where my car is being shipped to ) and wessen the  port it is leaving from but would love to know which ships I am looking for .

also can’t track the different movements during this stage sometimes it will go from status 30 to 38(in shipping load lane) or it will jump straight to 39(shipped) sometimes it even jumps straight to 40 (at UK port. The ports do work 7 days a week

Hi now been told delays at ports. Škoda not told which ones have delays 

 

now can’t even give an estimate of delivery time. Arrrgggg 

Yes, there are delays for other manufacturers at ports abroad and in the UK and once in the UK there have been delays due to a shortage of drivers/transporters.

 

Hope ours doesn't get delayed too much as due to be built towards the end of this month.

Hello all Škoda now at Emden still been there since 2nd July 

any new information about which ships are currently used. Did see the 2011 post but not sure if the ships are still sailing

still stuck at emden anyone else having this issue 

There is a difference of being stuck in Emden or being held in Emden (EU) because Skoda / VW do not want them leaving and into the UK to sit too long before being First Registered?

Maybe the VW Group in the UK need to get First Registration arranged to suit their need for 22% of passenger cars to be BEV,s,  and also not exceed the Average Fleet Co2 figures in the UK.

 

The Dealerships really should know or have some idea just how the importations are going and which excuses to use for delays, or even just be truthfull.

Priorities, or just staffing, transportation issues in the UK.
