it was initially in an icy box and connected via the usb port and it didn't work so i then fitted it into a different box which connect via the firewire port but it still fails,i've tried burning at slower speeds but its still the same,i can only assume my laptop is not good enough to run it or that there is a software problem, any advice would be greatly received,i don't know much about computers so keep it simple:O

or if not i'll get a friend over to have a look at the advice and see if he can understand it

regards

Dan

I had exactly the same problem using Nero.

Try downloading Slysoft Any DVD (free trial) to see if that works.

Also try using a different manufacturers media, some drives and media don't play nicely (God knows why)
