Rear electric window operation Fabia Vrs

Featured Replies

Anyone know if it is possible to get electric operation of the rear windows in my 2006 Fabia Vrs.I dont want some botched aftermarket job, if it is possible to do i would like to use switches and trim parts etc., that match existing components.Just wondered if anyone has done this and if so some idea of work involved and time to do also costs involved

Priced it up a while back, was in the region of £2k iirc to do it as factory with new parts.

I don't think anyone's done it as it was deemed uneconomical. FWIW, the European cars come with rear electric windows I believe so it might be possible to source the parts. Alternatively, you could mix 'n' match from an earlier Elegance but the door cards won't match :D

It still surprises me that Skoda don't even offer this as an option - seems quite a big shortcoming imho...
