New Fabia ?

Featured Replies

What engine do you think the next gen vrs will have 140 tdi or the new 170 tdi lump, and do you think skoda will get away with the insurance group rating again?

Just wondered what general thoughts were on here I would like to see em dump the 2.5 v6 tdi engine that would be ace:thumbup:

I reckon it'll be the 140 TDI - can't see them stepping on the Octy vRS's toes. :D Not sure what you mean about the insurance rating though?

Actually, with the 1.4 turbo+supercharged lump making the line up, the vRS may well be petrol powered too?

Chris

The 1.4 supercharge + turbo charged looks awesome. But I can't see them keeping the price less than 15k.

I mean group 9 vrs 130 but group 13 golf gt tdi 130, if they use more powerful engine will the insurance group go up to golf sort of levels or stay down as it has a skoda badge on it, will be interesting

Insurance isn't just based on performance though - cost of repair, desirability, standard security. etc are all factors. I would imagine with some insurance companies black listing the current Fabia vRS and an increase in power, we could see the insurance rating going up!

I heard that it will be a diesel, so I would guess at the PD140... would be really nice to have the 1.4 supercharged/turbocharged motor too though... hope they make them both side by side like they do with the octy vRS.....

Thought insurance companies were only blacl listing modded examples?
