Can the doors be locked internally????

Featured Replies

If you are in the car  say having a nap or a sleep  and the alarm is not reliable, can I lock myself in ?

When I am in the car and someone  wants to open the passenger door, I have to open my door first. Is it something to do with the other  2 'children' tabs. On the drivers side door??

Thnx for your patience...much appreciated !

Some key fobs only unlock the drivers door when pressed once, you have to press twice to open all doors.

The key fob can usually be programmed to do it differently .

The childlock buttons on the drivers door stop the back doors being opened from the inside.

Yes you can lock yourself in the car and not have the alarm set when you want to sleep in the car.  Try it.

But your car was stolen, the locking and windows and key fobs or electrics are faulty as you have posted in various threads.

Best get the car fixed properly.

PS

Please stop using the title Jemm for different threads.   Or maybe keep the various car lock questions in the same thread.

What are threads ? I have no idea. I live in my car at present which is why I am asking.

Threads are sequences of posts like this one.

If you look at any given subforum,  the titles of the first post of each thread tend to be describing the problem that's about to be discussed.

Bit like a non-fiction book title.

basically what is being said is, when you start a new topic, type what the issue is about, Not your name. In the header.

You have two "topics/threads" with the same title. "Jemm"
