To be honest for a car that has been in production for 5-6 years I don't know why they haven't solved this issue, my 2025 MC also has noise coming from this and it's very annoying, I temporarily fixed it by showing 2 small pieces of rubber to the right and left of the plastic and that solved it for a while but it has returned so I think I might need to find a thicker material or ring the service center to get it fixed.

GiscoYeti I'm trying to remove the plastic frame as well for the same insulation issue. It was easy to remove the top steering column cover, but I couldn't remove the plastic frame. Do I have to pry from a specific point or pull with force? How did you manage to remove the plastic frame exactly?

Thank you, prying tool provided a great tip. If someone is still looking for an answer, I was able to remove the frame with a plastic tool, starting from the inside and prying a little bit at each corner. Comes off easily without much force. Now I'm looking for an insulation material to use; open to suggestions.

This little tool did the trick.
