Can i replace the original tin shield with something like this?

I know you are in Australia but eBay has good used ones here for £15  /$30 ?

cant find one, i might have to call some wrecking yards, but where i live apparently on 12 yetis were sold. one wrecking yard that had one was selling for prices more than new. 

Have a look at ebay UK and see what the cost to post is ? I know they don't weigh much ! Actually there's a Skoda spares company in Czech who I've used who are very good?
