Has anyone tried fitting a swivel/turntable base to the front passenger seat.  I camp in my Yeti. 

 

I've been trying to find a fold forward passenger seat as I was told they do exist but, if they do, no one's ever seen one lol 😂

Swivel seats work on a flat floor, something the Yeti does not have.

Welcome. The folding passenger seat was offered as an option on some models but as you have found, they are as rare as rocking horse poo.  I considered one when I bought my Yeti (not sure if they were still available though) but realised a standard, fully reclined passenger seat was more suited to my needs.

 

Regarding the swivel base: Even if it were possible to fit one, I very much doubt there would be sufficient clearance around the seat to allow it to turn. Try unbolting the seat sometime to check you can turn it through 180 degrees within the space available.

The side bolstering on the "sports" seats stop the seat from fully folding forward. Prior to my Yeti I had a VW Touran and I managed to spec this with such a seat. Both vehicles are built on the same platform and you may find you could swap a seat over from the Touran.

Factory seats have airbags and occupancy sensors. If you fit another seat make sure these are compatible, and that disconnecting and reconnecting these components does not throw an airbag error which can be costly to get reset.
