Hi all, my octy has the seats with the white stitch, few cigarette burns on both front seats so I picked up a set of seats with the red stitch, good and clean, they’re the same seat as mine as far as I know no electric or heating, what all needs to be done to change them over? 
id imagine disconnect battery and unplug the seats ? Any tips on this would be appreciated as I haven’t done it before on this particular car. Thanks  

Should be just as you say, disconnect the battery and wait a short while then unplug the seats and zip out the bolts.

 

You'd be worth making sure the heads of the bolts are free of dirt and bruck (rubbish), with these bolts being the triple square/spline/XZN drive, they take very little encouragement to round out. There are only four per seat though so it's not a huge job. You probably will have to slide the seat to get at the bolt front and rear in turn.
