Hi, first post and been through as many posts as I can trying to figure out my problem to no avail.

 

Recently bought a used MK3 VRS 245 - Love it, massive upgrade over my Dacia duster I had. However when I test drove the car I'm absolutely convinced that traffic sign recognition was working on the dash - now it isn't. I've bought an OBD11 to change a few minor things and to use it as a basic OBD reader and it brings up a fault for the camera c110400 and even sometimes can't connect/find the camera at all. Fault code is camera malfunction.

 

In my infotainment system it has all the options to do with the camera but I get the message 'function not available currently' for lane assist/TSR.

 

I've tried resetting the camera through OBD11 to no avail also.

 

Is this a trip to a Skoda dealer type of problem?

It's not unknown for the cable to the A5 camera to go faulty, it's reported quite often on the Ross-Tech VCDS forum?

So a trip to Skoda to get the cable replaced?
