:confused: Had the coil packs replaced a couple of weeks back (03 Fabia Combi 1.2 HTP) and have noticed that my average MPG has went up from around 30 to nearer 40. I am still doing the same type of driving in the same areas. Would the new coil packs change the MPG?

Maybe my driving habits have changed and I have not noticed or the traffic jams have eased a little?

it may have made a difference , you will probably be getting a better spark , therefore a better fuel burn , the engine management will see that when it monitors the O2 sensor and adjusts the fuel to suit
