I've just purchased a new (74 plate) L&K Superb estate, and have been trying to get a third party tow bar and dedicated wiring harness installed. I've been told by two companies, one recommended by our dealer, that this is not possible at the moment as the software is "locked". It may be possible later in they year or early next year.

 

Has anybody had any luck with a vehicle specific kit?

I've not heard anything - emailed Simpsons in Preston last week, and I'm still waiting for a reply.........

Has anyone had any updates? My wife had heard of someone having an aftermarket towbar fitted to a new Kodiaq, and as we understand it they're pretty much the same vehicle software-wise?
