2016 Drivers seat not working.

Looking for any ideas to get my drivers seat working?. It stopped a couple of months ago in my wifes position which i can not fit in to, so i found a local guy with the relevant laptop and program and he said that the control box on the seat is showing a fault but won't let him reset it so in his opinion it was the box. So i was able to source a box and fitted it and then got him back to see if he could get it working, we can now hear the relays working when the buttons on the side of the seat are pushed but nothing is moving, on his laptop it shows the motors are at fault even when he reset everything they just come back as a fault, the lumber support button works but it didn't with the original box so i think we are close but are now thinking the motors are seized/knackered. Has anyone got any ideas please?
