New Yeti 2024

Featured Replies

I’m assuming it’s a spoof video on YouTube but if true I want one 👍😎

@paco Have we to find the video ourselves?

I have looked and not seeing what you have seen.

Got you.  2025...

Looking on line it looks like the stuff on New Yeti is just AI generated stuff and a nonsense.

Some good designs though. Maybe AI will be a good thing!

I think the only reason that there isn't another Yeti is because everything still has to start with a K.

Maybe when another design chief comes in in 5 years and spouts nonsense about a 'new design language', we will get a Yeti.

The next new Model & the next after that will start with an E.

So still no Yeti then. Maybe they gave up the rights to the name for car applications - it's used for all sorts of other products.

The name might well return for a brave new world, The Yet-e.

The thing is not enough people bought the original or the Face Lift.

As much as it is a classic and there were repeat buyers there are many fans that never splashed the cash.

It's very clever but watchimg the clip of the blue car I doubt the transitions between shots would survive in a professional video, the wheels are an unusual design (in at least two variants, neither seeming to need wheel nuts - held on by magnets?) and the shadows beneath the car aren't right. And if I needed any more convincing this is "Fake News" (and heaven forbid we hear that for the next four years) the clip of the red car is a bit of a give-away.

Skoda - Simply Clever but not much good at spelling".

But for us oldies, if AI is this good at this stage, how on earth are we going to spot reality from fakes in five years time?

AI and on-line banking security must be a huge threat a few years into the future ?

New Skoda have letters not the old round badges, and the New Design Language, they are not going back to the future until maybe a Retro Yeti style Cross over EV.

I think once you get into an AI car, you will be able to tell the difference ;)
