car is a 2015 mk3 VRS230 estate. 

 

I bought the following struts from Bilstein a few months back, part nos below. I believed i had done all the right checks to ensure they were the correct part, however had a chap out to fit today and neither the rears or the fronts were right. 

 

The bushes for the rear were too small and the strut outside diameter on the fronts too small.

The mechanic i had out said that i could order a sleeve for the fronts and bigger bushes for the rears which would make them fit. But given my clear ineptitude to order the right thing in the first place i'm not trusting myself to order the right thing.

would anyone know what it is i need to order?  

 

The shocks you have bought are 50mm front shocks and rigid axle rear shocks, hence they don't fit.

 

You need will need 55mm front shocks and multi-link rear shocks
