Confused over service interval

Featured Replies

Got in my 2023 Scala today and was met with an oil change service due in 30 days message.

I thought the service intervals were 20,000 or 2 years, I have only done 12,635 miles.

I rang the dealer today and asked when my car needed servicing, they looked on the system and said every 12 months/10,000 miles.

I told them I have had the car 18 months and done 12,000 miles and the countdown had only shown up 2 days ago.

The guy went silent and then said I need to check with the leasing company to see what they require.

30 days is in 2025.

When did the car get the PDI and first registered?

The variable / flexible Service Interval is 18,000-20,000 miles / 24 months on variable servicing.

*Sometimes reset at the PDI to fixed.  372 days / 9,400 miles to suit a Service plan. or greedy dealerships, or on Demonstrators*

Sorry just re-read my first post and can see what you mean, the car was first registered on 15 June 2023 so is almost 19 months old.

PDI would have been a few days before as the dealer only had it a few days before it was delivered to me.
