Simultaneous wireless CarPlay and BT Handsfree connection

Hi: does anyone know if it is possible to simultaneously connect a device to Apple Carplay wirelessly and the car's native BT handsfree system (not Amundsen).

 

If I am connected to Carplay, and I press the infotainment phone button, it asks me to disconnect Carplay to connect the BT device, and vice versa.

 

Regardless of how useful it might be (it is always possible to access everything from Carplay, including the phone app), could this be done?
