Stereo screen failure any help plz???

Featured Replies

Hi all hope all is well with your motors and 2025 is treating you well.

In need of some advice/guidance when it comes to the stereo screen on my father's mk3 1.2 SE on 60k please.

Still get power to the screen but it's a scorched line appearance constantly on the screen and been like this a few days now.

Any advice on how to go about fixing if possible would be great.

Are these units prone to failure??

Am on my 4th Octavia my last one was even 14 years old and still had original stereo with no problem.

If it needs a replacement unit are there any good aftermarket ones with reverse camera capability that anyone knows of etc etc ?? As I see alot of people acquiring from Ali express and Amazon lately.

Thanks for reading and any advice greatly appreciated 👍 👍

I beleive the display unit is faulty and needs replacement. They ar enot expensive and are not covered iwth Component Protection. I beleive the part number is 6V0919604 but pls share your VIN so I can check in parts catalogue.

6V0919604 as expected. Replacement is piece of cake, all you need is 4 pieces of removal keys.
