Fog light refitting

I recently had a leak from the windscreen wiper water bottle.  I was told to take the fog light off and could access from there.

After doing so, I realised the best access was via removing the wheel liner...and I did this and fixed the leak.

However, fixing the fog light back on place is a different story.  It is a bugger.  Has anyone any advice?  There seems to like 4 clips, 2 at top and 2 at bottom and the a side clip.

No matter what I try I cannot get them aligned and into place.
