Oem dog/luggageguards

Featured Replies

Hi, my 2012 estate mk2 elegance did not come with one of these guards, so there are no mounting points either side at the edge of the roof

Is it possible to retrofit them to allow the use of an oem dog guard?🙂

I have a travall dog guard for my car, I'm not sure about oem fit but my guard utilises the rear seat anchors to secure the guard prior to closing the rear seats. The rest of the guard rests on the plastic liners very secure!

I have the Skoda original guard (but no dog, keeps me separated from all my work equipment 😉 which was fitted by the dealer as part of the deal when I bought their demonstrator at 3 months old.  Believe all the mounting points are there as standard but hidden behind trim panels which need drilling when fitting the guard.  Does make for a very strong rigidly mounted guard

Just found out the 2013 brochure for the facelift superb which shows the guard in accessories section with price "includes fitting" which confirms to be that it's not a factory fit option and is a dealer fit accessory (suspect they have a template to know where to drill before bolting it into place)
