hi there, ive been getting a dry rattle sound from my engine area from cold when changing gear and accelerating. when car warm noise goes, really bugging me, seems when car gets perpelled (thrusted) gear change caused speed diff as well as accelerating.

Have you changed from your regular brand of diesel recently?

I think I know what rattle you mean. I changed from Shell to Morrison's for a short time and got it.

A couple of shots of Millers Diesel Plus and returning to Shell sorted it for me.

You make no mention of what mileage covered and engine type in the car.

Probably needs a change of oil after a good flush with flushing oil to clear the oilways.

ZX1 treatment usually helps also.
