I am looking to convert my current parcel shelf to a retractable parcel shelf. I currently don't have the parcel shelf and a couple of the side trims are broken so I thought instead of fixing it, why not upgrade it! Does anyone know the part numbers or where to find the part numbers for the side trims the parcel shelf sits in! or if it is even possible!

Thats confusing, do you have one that you want to convert or do you not have one?

 

I thought the MK2 only came with the retractable parcel shelf as did the MK1, I'm not aware of a solid version, others will confirm or correct me but if I am right then I would expect the rear side trims to be compatible.

 

I hate the solid shelf in my Yeti, well its not in as its been banished to the shed, I would much rather a roller blind retractable one like they fit in the Asian markets.

Currently I have no parcel shelf in it as the previous owner binned it due to a leak. I would like to convert it but it only had a solid one and personally retractable ones make way more sense for me

The parts catalogue pages for a 2012 1Z Euro Octy saloon are HERE and the estate HERE.

 

The two covers are completely different so whilst it might be possible to retrofit an estate cover to a saloon I don't believe it would be able to completely cover the load area due to the different body shapes.

It would certainly have the length, an excess in fact, the shape of the tailgate is likely to be different.
