Cancelling / Ending call from steering wheel

Featured Replies

I have a 74 reg SEL Superb. I love the car but just have one question. I took a call yesterday and, through the right hand dial was able to answer the call. However, when I want to end a call, I don't know how I can do it from the steering wheel or if I have to touch the red end call button on the infotainment screen?

When the call came in, I was using Android Auto. If I'm not using it, can I answer a call in the same way as I did yesterday or is it all through the screen?

I don't use Android Auto. I have the same situation. You can scroll steering wheel button to hang up whilst still dialling. But once answered, touchscreen is the only way to hang up. Presumably another software glitch.

It was like that in MIB3 infotainemnt in all VW/Skoda/Seat models that used it like Octavia4.

It is not related to Carplay or Android Auto.

Incoming call could be answered by clicking OK button on the steering wheel but there was no option to hang up with same or any other button.

Ending a call was only possible by touch button on the infotainment screen.

I havent tried the new infotainment in Superb4 but if it works like in previous cars then this was by design for some reason which is WTF really.
