Connect powered sub to front or rear speakers?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I just installed an in-phase usw12 powered sub in my car which needed to be connected to the left and right speaker channels, the instructions didn't specify front or rears. I have a 2017 SEL Octavia with the stock head unit.

I followed this post where they connected to their sub to the rear outputs https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/479545-installation-of-kenwood-ksc-sw11-underseat-sub/?_fromLogin=1

I've now read elsewhere that it's best to connect to the front speakers and the Kenwood ksc-sw11 manual says not to connect to the rears if the center unit incorporates a DSP.

Just looking for advice from more knowledgeable members if I should change my connections or leave as is.

Many thanks in advance.
