2007 (MK2) Skoda Fabia Cruise Control Retrofit Help!!

Hi all, I recently purchased my first Skoda. I am new to Skoda but not new to VAG cars. This is my first VAG car that doesnt have cruise control from factory and having come from using cruise control a lot, I definitely miss it and would love for it to be installed on my fabia. I have mechanical experience working on all my cars but that experience doesn't stretch to coding/electrical tasks.

My questions are: What are the steps to retrofitting CC myself? Is it a difficult task? How much cheaper to do it myself vs taking it to a specialist? and Can my car even have CC retrofitted?

I'm not sure whether this matters but its a 1.9tdi Pd105 (BSW) sport with manual transmission.

Any advice or links to tutorials to help me get started would be greatly appreciated.
