yeti adventure 1.9tdi 2013, parking sensor failure

Featured Replies

Hi

I've looked at the topic"Parking sensors not working" started Dec 23, and wondered if my problem is the same.

I've been working under the rear headliner and I cant see or feel any buzzer on the right side. Its due a service in the next couple of weeks, as its due its annual trip to the Balkans.

So maybe the garage I use will find a fault code. If it is the buzzer, any idea where it might be on my Yeti ??, I've run my hand along the inside rear edge above the tailgate hinges but couldn't fee anything like the

Thanks, I found the thing , very easy to miss, found the loudspeaker inside open circuit, soldered a 47ohm resistor across the terminals and reversing camera functional again.

visited the local dealer to get a price and they wanted £44, so I've ordered a 1 1/4"( 35mm) 50 ohm speaker and a cost of £14.60 off flea bay
