Hi, I have a 2009 fabia 1.4tdi, sometimes when I go to start the car the clocks will flash to life only to go dead and then flash to life again. This can happen for 1minute or 20minutes. When flashing if I start the car it dies much like an immobiliser fault. When the flashing stops it will start right up and work away no problems. I have checked the connectors beside the clocks and all seems okay, I have checked to see if any relays are playing up, all seem okay. I'm out if ideas as to what could be causing this

Dodgy earth connection somewhere? Dodgy supply connection to clocks? i'd start by checking all earths from the battery myself.
