13A socket getting warm. I believe a thermistor is used in the plug to monitor temperature?

Two (thin) wires, red and white are fed into the plug (I think for this purpose).

Has anyone swapped the 13 plug / socket for a commando socket to reduce

resistance?

If so, what is the thermistor wiring please?
