USB read speed for music

Hi all, I'm currently using the USB2 port in the centre armrest storage are for my music memory card, I occasionally get stuttering on it and can only think it's due to the read speed of the USB card, which is 10MPS.

Is there a minimum USB read speed for the infotainment unit? Or would I be better using a USB/C port?

You can pick up usb3 drives for peanuts these days and it’s backwards compatible
