Custom mapped Revo/alternatives?

Featured Replies

I have Revo on my Fabia vRS, but am still a bit disappointed with the SPS1's ability to switch back to "Stock".

Please don't think I'm not happy with the Revo "Performance" setting, because that's not the case. The supplier spent quite a bit of time sorting out an initial problem, but still the car produces 152bhp in "Stock".

The whole point of getting the SPS1 was to switch the car back to standard.......I thought this was what Revo meant by "Stock", but this is not the case.

Anyway........enough of this. The car goes ok!!

I was wondering if it was possible to get the Revo software "fine tuned" to account for any further mods I may make in future, or will I have to go for a custom map from an alternative supplier?

If the custom map is the way to go, can this be written over the existing Revo software? How about if I wanted to keep the ability to switch to standard? I think this would mean going for something like OneClick which actually has the STANDARD ECU parameters/programming held onboard the switch.

I am led to believe that OneClick reads my cars standard settings and then has the remap held alongside it, ready for switching at my leisure. If this is the case......now that I have Revo, how can I get a standard map back to my car?? reflash at a dealer??

Speak to the folks at Custom Code. They should be able to fix you up.

I saw something akin to this discussed on the UK MkIV's forum which might be of interest to you ?

Your Revo dealer should have your original map on disc.
