Just a bit of a warning — my kid shut the back door (maybe a bit too hard) when the window was fully down, and it popped out of the rails. After that, the window couldn’t be fully closed and required full door disassembly to get it back into the rails.

I don’t blame my son — he’s just a kid — but Skoda could definitely make this more robust. The rail is made of plastic and is quite flexible - it could clearly be metal, but I guess Skoda is cutting costs wherever they can.

That's 2025 Enyaq Coupe, if it matters, but I suppose the doors are all the same.

It's probably not necessarily cost saving, but weight saving! Everything with an electric car is about weight - similar to how crap the sub woofer is for example - all weight saving stuff.

Yes, might be that. Anyway they could've design it better, it rather not break the design proven for years.

Agreed and plastic tends to go brittle as well over time! Poor :(
