I just tried to adapt my central locking to work with the key fob. I did it with obdeleven. I managed to adapt the key and turn signals flashed to confirm successful adaptation but after that the key fob won't work. It can't open or close the doors. Central locking works from the inside button. What could be the reason for this? I have -07 Octavia

You probably need to resynchronise the key(s).

This procedure does change by model year but this is the most common way:-

1) With the doors locked, press any button on the fob

2) within a minute, use the key in the door lock to unlock the door

3) put the key in the ignition lock and turn on the ignition (this will also silence the alarm if it has come on)

4) withdraw the key. The buttons should now work.

Thanks, but I've tried every possible method even with two keys. It won't work. Today I found out that my drivers door cabling harness might be causing these problems.
