I have a 25 plate Scala. I have noticed when ever I go into reverse the little parking sensor icon in the bottom left as red bars showing in the rear corner of the image (not the image of the car shown over the camera image, the one below that). Given it's got some Red on it does it mean there is an issue with the sensor? That red three bars is always showing when ever in reverse

Give them a clean and get the wiring checked

Best get done Under the warranty.

I think mine looks exactly the same. It's an icon. When you reverse does the sensor actually work? The beeping starts and the actual visual warning behind the car image in the screen starts to flash?

Normal signals are a curved orange line when you are getting close to an obstruction and it changes to a red bar when you get within about 400mm. If there is a red curved bar at the corner when you are not anywhere near anything there is a fault with the sensor or wiring

You dont have a towbar do you as that can f up the rear sensors if not coded properly

I've checked the manual (page 140 or so for Kamiq) and the icon in the bottom left of screen does have the red lines on it. The function of the icon when touched is to put the rear view camera into full screen.

Ok have gone and looked in our car and it is the same and there is nothing behind it and when you press it and the whole car comes up there are no warning lines behind it There are light warning lines in left front as corner of garage is about 1500mm away So it seems to be normal and nothing to worry about.. Only worry when on the big picture you have red lines at corners.

Hope thats reassuring
