Recommendation for Android Auto headunit to replace my standard unit in my Mk2 Fabia SE?

I would like to upgrade the existing CD player unit in my beloved 2014 mk2 Skoda Fabia TDI SE 105CR and am struggling to find the prefect solution. I have seen recommendations to use an RCD300, RNS315 or 510 but these posts are from quite some time ago and so I wondered if anything had changed?

I essentially want an easy to install unit that gives me Android Auto so I can use maps on the screen and play music through my phone. The sound quality on the standard unit is utterly terrible through the aux cable so any improvement on that would also be welcome.

For reference my unit is the same one as pictured here (although I do not have an vRS).
