disconnecting parking sensors

Featured Replies

I have a 2014 rapid spaceback (with the glass roof).
It has parking sensors, installed by the skoda dealer (not from factory).

They have started acting erratic, beeping randomly at various speeds when in reverse.
The car is 11 years old so rather than spend a lot of money having it investigated, i just want to disconnect the audible component.

Any advice as to where the control box is located?

Usually it is located in the boot under side trim. Don't know where they put it when it's installed by the dealer but OEM style they are back there on the left side.

A tip, to get side trim down you would need to remove rear seats to get to all screws and clips.

If you need anything else just ask.
