Cabin perfume.

Featured Replies

I recently (8months ago) traded a 2020 Karoq for a 2023 model and its a great car.

My problem is that since I brought it home there is, and remains, a very strong air freshener smell. It's not unpleasant but frequently does annoy the senses as some artificial smells will do.

I suspect that a sachet has been secreted in the car but, despite frequent searches, i cant find it. I have spoken to the dealer, on 3 separate occasions, but they have stated that they use only a spray as part of preparing a car.

Has anyone had a similar experience and if so is there a place where this perfume might be located?

Thanks. John Lynn

I've not had this but am aware that some people pop something in / on the pollen filter - so that would be worth looing at / checking
