When your driving along?

Try adjusting the speed dependant volume (GALA).

yeah just while driving, does it actually say gala on the button?

Have a look in your stereo manual, its in a menu that you select.

Hold TP till it beeps then press TP rpepatedly till GALA shows on the display, anything over about 5 will **** you off. Once it's set press TP once more then press A/F to put the radio back on.

Set properly it's a really good feature that you only notice the lack of in other cars.

Remember this being in the Calibra my Dad had back in the early '90s. It's such a good feature that I forgot I'd set it up in the Mondeo - it just subtely adjusts the volume up and down perfectly with the noise of the engine!
