Sensor Longitudinal Acceleration - difference between 1K0909606D and 1K0909606C

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a Skoda Octavia 2010 and the airbag light come up on the dash :(

Read the code and find out the driver side sensor which is located in the bottom of the rear door frame need to change :(

The price of the new is amazing so I went for a scrap yard but the Skoda's are too good to be in there :)

Found a A6 S-line and it has 1K0909606C. The question is what the different is between the two sensors with C and D marks on them? Is the C will work instead of D or I will trash my airbag system with it completely.

It is definitely not the passenger or driver side or left/right side of the sensors marked with C and D as both side had 1K0909606C (this was my first thought).

Thanks if you can help with it :)
