OCTAVIA SE FRST ED TSI ETEC SA Octavia SE First Edition TSi MHEV Semi-Auto DSG Gearbox oil change?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have just bought a immaculate 2021 Octavia FE 999cc mild hybrid with 82K mile on it, The previous owner went up and down the motorway a LOT!

Now it has a full Skoda service history but i as wondering when the DSG gearbox service is due? I cant check with Skoda right now as i am away working,

Cant wait to try it out, No rocket ship but look a very nice place to sit! Also i dont do a lot of miles so the 82k does not bother me with the fsh and its in such good condition,Also any pointers or tips about the car?

Cheers All.

It is a DQ200-e 7 speed twin dry clutch DSG.

There is no Service / Oil Change regime for it.

But on a DQ200 it is suggested to change the gearbox oil at 40,000 miles.

@PetrolDave Suggest by whom? VW, SEAT, Audi or Skoda, or @super717 in his thread & by AN Other.

Just Go get it done then, there are people that will change both oils, maybe even a Main Dealership Technician.

The DQ200 has a mechatronic that is sealed to 3 bar, it's only the gearbox oil that should be considered for changing.

Good to know. & good that you say why.

Maybe 7 million DQ200,s on it is time that VW Group gave Servicing advice on them. After all there are ones still from 2009 or original oil, and ones since the Service Campaign in 2012 & 2014 still running with the oil they changed at the Service Campaign.

People do change both oils as seen in this very forum.

pictures of the oils are available,.

They also clean out the stoor in the box at the clutches.
