  1. Cheers guys, i am new to the dsg box and just wanted to make sure the servicing was spot on, So no need to change the gearbox oil then.. Any other tips about the car? Cheers RG
  2. I found on my last few cars it was easy enough to take a feed out the fuse box to run my road angel pure gps and my dash cam, it takes a hour or two taking your time but its not hard to do unless your ham fisted, Saying that ... i will probably be going with the road angel halo hooked to to the mirror usb and use waze, That should be a very neat install indeed.
  3. Hi All, I have just bought a immaculate 2021 Octavia FE 999cc mild hybrid with 82K mile on it, The previous owner went up and down the motorway a LOT! Now it has a full Skoda service history but i as wondering when the DSG gearbox service is due? I cant check with Skoda right now as i am away working, Cant wait to try it out, No rocket ship but look a very nice place to sit! Also i dont do a lot of miles so the 82k does not bother me with the fsh and its in such good condition,Also any pointers or tips about the car? Cheers All.
  4. I see what you mean but Edinburgh council will use this as the thin end of the wedge and it will expand over time, Besides my Honda ( eco 5 ) is still worth something but as the ulez becomes tighter the car will drop in value so best get shot while its still worth a few bob.
  5. Hi Guys, I am just about to buy a 1 liter tsi estate to replace my diesel Honda due to the low emissions rules here in Edinburgh, Is there anything i should look out for? It drives very well for a wee engine @ 60k miles, FSSH, It just needs tires but that just me being fussy! Cheers RG.
