Larger Tyres?

Featured Replies

Need some tyres for my newly acquired Yeti 4x4. The stock 255/50/17 look a bit small and don’t fill the arches too well so I was thinking of going up a small degree to 255/55/17 as this will have minimal impact on the speedometer reading.

Has anyone else done this and if so, were there any issues to note (not withstanding letting the insurance company know)?

They are definitely not 255 50 17 as standard. Try 225 50 17 😀 also, search on here there is a good thread with all the options on tyre sizes, wheel specs etc.
