NEED HELP! Skoda Rapid 1.6 TDI 2012 engine support removal

Featured Replies

Hello all I am recently carrying out a cambelt change on my 2012 Skoda Rapid Saloon and I have ran into an issue with removing the engine support from the engine bay to get to the tensioner pulley, I have removed coolant expansion tank and All lines above the chassis is in the way, we are using trolley jacks to lift and lower the engine from the oil sump and also a trolley jacks on the car for some more movement. Today we have removed the dog bone mount at the back of the engine to try and attempt to bring the engine closer to the radiator. Any advice appreciated please and thanks.

Yeh we been working through the guide and are up to the step where we need to pull the mount out vertically whilst pulling the engine as much to the radiator as possible yet still don’t have clearance
